The treatment of woodworm

There is a range of woodworm treatments avialable depending on the severity and damage the woodworm infestation has caused to the structural integrity of your building.

• If the woodworm damage isn't severe then the surfaces can be treated with insecticide and this will kill the woodworm and their larvae and prevent reinfestation
• For serious infestations there is a range of chemical woodworm treatments that can be applied, otherwise the structure may have to be fumigated
• If the woodworm damage compromises the stability of the structure, the effected timber must be removed and replaced
