Wet rot treatment

The treatment for wet rot will depend upon the extent of your damp problems. 

All treatments will require the source of water to be cured. We may be required to remove the damaged damp timbers and replace them with new timbers that are isolated from any damp brickwork.

How we treat wet rot:

• Cure the source of the dampness
• Remove rotted timbers
• Replace rotted timbers with fresh wood that is treated with a wood preservative so as to resist future wet rot and dry rot infestations
• New timbers are isolated from any damp brickwork
